Regulator Update: RQF Level 5 Explained
The Regulated Qualifications Framework (RQF) is a system for cataloging qualifications in England, Wales, and Northern Ireland.
Level 5 qualifications, such as the Level 5 Diploma in Health and Social Care Management, are equivalent to a Higher National Diploma (HND) or a foundation degree.
These qualifications are designed to provide learners with a high level of knowledge and understanding, as well as the skills and competencies required for a specific job role or sector.
- They are typically taken by learners who have completed a Level 3 or 4 qualification, or who have relevant work experience.
- They are usually delivered over a period of 6-12 months, depending on the mode of study.
- They are assessed through a combination of assignments, exams, and practical assessments.
